About Us

About Flash Avenue

York County’s longest standing web development company helping clients with web design and online marketing since 1994.

Our Values

No long-term contracts…

We value long-term relationships and insist on being held accountable for our work.

Marketing Philosophy

Don’t try to tell people that your company’s products & services are the greatest thing since sliced bread (they’ll probably get a little nausious and won’t believe what you say about yourself anyway).

Instead, address your customers biggest pains to let them know that you understand their situation and demonstrate how you’ve helped others who have be suffering with similar problems and concerns.

Always defer to someone else (customers) to promote how your company performs.

We take the guesswork out of digital advertising.

Initially, we’ll run many ads that target many different audiences on an extremely cheap budget… and let the ad platform’s Artficial Intelligence find sales and customers for us.

Some ads and audiences will work; some won’t.

So, we’ll dump the ones that don’t… and scale up the ones that do.

And, repeat the process to continually optimize the amount invested in acquiring new customers and sales.

No more wasted marketing dollars!

Our History

We’ve been helping clients with web design and online marketing since 1994. Our many valued long-term customer relationships have kept our business growing for over two and a half decades. Flash Avenue’s network of web development and marketing resource providers utilize leading edge strategies that give our clients a competitive edge.

In 1994, with previous experience in computer programming, sign-making, desktop-publishing, and marketing, John Stauffer started a part-time graphic design business named “Panther Paw Graphics” in his downtown York apartment. A few months later, while the Internet was making its public debut, the company shifted its focus to web site development.

Over the next several years, the list of satisfied customers grew steadily and in 2000, John relocated the business/residence to Red Lion, PA. With the forecast of continued success and growth in March of 2002, the business moved to its own storefront office in Red Lion, PA and changed its name to “Flash Avenue” to more effectively convey Internet technology related services.

In 2004, with the addition of a Project Coordinator/Web Designer, Web Developer/Programmer and Finance/Bookkeeping Manager, Flash Avenue moved to a larger office facility in the Olde Tollgate Village in York, PA.

Then, after many years of advances in technology, the extra space of the Olde Tollgate Village office had become obsolete. With streamlined web development processes, Flash Avenue moved its headquarters back to its original office location at 127 Linden Avenue, Red Lion, PA in January of 2012.

John Stauffer serves on the Executive Referral Network (ERN) Board of Directors.
